GLAAD #Haters attack and A&E folds like a cheap lawn chair

Full disclosure: I have NEVER seen an episode of “Duck Dynasty.” I do NOT care for “Z-Z-Top” full beards on men. I think they’re nasty looking. But having said that, from a distance, I admire Phil Robertson and his clan. He and his family are close knit, love each other, the men are faithful to their wives, and they have a fervent, sincere faith in the same God that I worship.

Duck Dynasty was featured in a big spread in the January issue of ‘GQ’ Magazine, and Phil Robertson was asked about his beliefs. And on the subject of sin, he says:

“Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men,” he says. Then he paraphrases Corinthians: “Don’t be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers — they won’t inherit the kingdom of God. Don’t deceive yourself. It’s not right.”

He goes on to say,

“It seems like, to me,” a woman “would be more desirable …That’s just me. I’m just thinking: There’s more there! She’s got more to offer. I mean, come on, dudes! You know what I’m saying? But hey, sin: It’s not logical, my man. It’s just not logical.”

Robertson also said:

“We’re Bible-thumpers who just happened to end up on television. … You put in your article that the Robertson family really believes strongly that if the human race loved each other and they loved God, we would just be better off. We ought to just be repentant, turn to God, and let’s get on with it, and everything will turn around.”

By now, you probably have read that Phil’s comments did not sit well with the Gay community, nor did they receive the approval of USA Today, which originally fired the first salvo at the Robertson family (I wonder if USAToday hires ANY journalists who AREN’T gay, because it’s so obvious that they carry the water for the Gay and Lesbian community!).

GLAAD issued a statement condemning the remarks as “littered with outdated stereotypes and blatant misinformation.” GLAAD also slammed Phil Robertson’s remarks as ‘vile’ and went on to call for a boycott of the show and its sponsors. And only a few hours later (you didn’t need a crystal ball to know that this was coming) A&E Networks FOLDED like a cheap lawn chair, and “fired” Phil Robertson, issuing this “homo” friendly statement:

“We are extremely disappointed to have read Phil Robertson’s comments in GQ, which are based on his own personal beliefs and are not reflected in the series Duck Dynasty,” A&E said in a statement, which was reported by The Hollywood Reporter.”His personal views in no way reflect those of A+E Networks, who have always been strong supporters and champions of the LGBT community. The network has placed Phil under hiatus from filming indefinitely.”

I bet that if this had been a pro-homosexual comment trashing normal men/women it wouldn’t have raised one single eyebrow at this hypocritical network! Liberals love to tout ‘free speech’ until the speech is about them and then they launch an all-out effort to censor and silence their critics. GLAAD has a god-given right to NOT watch, read or listen to anything about Duck Dynasty.

GLAAD with their activist agenda is intent on shoving homosexuality and deviancy down the throats of all Americans. They, along with USA Today and the mainstream media have made themselves the self-appointed arbiters of tolerance and acceptable speech. Who’s really being intolerant of other people’s beliefs? It seems to me that the INTOLERANCE and HATE is coming from GLAAD, USA Today, and A&E Networks.

Liberals always believe in the first amendment and champion “freedom of speech” until someone uses it to speak out against them or their behavior. Then, they deem the speech “vile” or “hateful” even if it is a quote from the Bible. This also reveals their hatred for the Bible, the God of the Bible and his followers, otherwise known as Christians. Oh, and GLAAD has its own definition for “who” is and who isn’t a Christian. They reserve their wrath for those whom they label as “right-wing Christian extremists” or “right-wing Christian zealots,” etc. You get the picture.

To GLAAD, USAToday, A&E Networks, the MSM (Main-stream media), and the Hollywood Left, I have one word that describes you:
